He is dapper, he is sweet, he is derpy! Who doesn't love a manatee in a top hat? As a Florida girl, I have grown up alongside these amazing creatures on the river waters of Weeki Wachee. It was only a matter of time before a whimsical manatee friend joined my portfolio! 

Can an artist have a scratch and dent sale? I don't see why not?

A few months back, while prepping this fine fellow for the Fringe Festival (wow, say that 5 times fast) The unthinkable happened and I punctured the canvas with the very tips of a pair of needle nose pliers.

After an appropriate amount of freaking out, I turned my sites to YouTube to learn how to repair and restore damaged canvases.

I am satisfied with the integrity of the repair. This gentleman will go on to live as happy and long a life as any of my other paintings. The only thing is.....UP close, you can still see where the original sin took place.

So I am offering him on discount. He is 18 by 24 inches, a decent size, and where once was three hundred there is now only two hundred! A deal if ever there was!
