A Fantasia of Dark & Elegant Art

I’m Elizabeth Eleanor Davis, a visual artist from Orlando, Florida. I’ve always been “artsy” in one form or another, whether writing my own stories, or sketching comic book characters as a child instead of paying attention in math class. I have some formal art and art history education, but am largely self taught. I began painting in 2012 on a whim and was instantly hooked. By 2013 I was participating in my first juried show. Since then I have had work shown in galleries, art bars, museums, private events, and in music spaces across Central Florida, the Midwest, and most recently in California. I have clients across the US, Canada, and the UK.

My art is a reflection of my travels, inspirations, and aesthetics. Each piece has a personal connection to me. I enjoy contrast, drama, rich color, curves, and movement. I love art museums, wildlife, brooding music, tragically flawed characters, and every now and again a good dash of whimsy. These elements often comes across in my work.

In addition to painting, I keep busy with freelance writing, creative consulting, prop fabrication, and I moonlight as a DJ under the moniker V01D4o7 with the DJ collectives The Dark Romantics and CRUX. I share my beautiful home with the love of my life, husband Geoffrey, and best dog in the galaxy, Ms. Zelda Gezang. At my leisure, I love to decorate, spin records, and collect WAY too many houseplants.
