"The Power " is part of my series, "The Garden of the White Rose". Mythical and preternatural, The Lady of the White Rose presides over her sacred garden of life and death. Here, all things come alive at midnight. They twinkle, glow, and reveal themselves slowly out from the shadows and into the moonlight. Some might say she is a witch, others an ethereal being out of time. Either way, she curates her magical garden with arcane power and love, creating sacred sanctuary for her animal friends. No one is certain where her power comes from, but some say it has something to do with the white roses that grow in the garden, and how they seem to glow, almost blueish, in the moonlight.
