"Hail to the Freaks" is a piece that celebrates following the beat of your own drum, letting your imagination drive you, and pursuing what makes you happy. My inspiration for this piece is based a little on my childhood experiences, but also by my younger sister. She has always gone through life with humility, a sense of humor, and a complete disregard for what other people think of her. From a young age she marched to the beat of her own weird, creative drum, and I've always felt inspired by that. We also both really love dinosaurs!
