Carousel is an early work I did based on the magic and whimsy of childhood. I was a big horse enthusiast as a child, and going to the Nunley's Carousel with my family is some of my happiest memories. I wanted to create that feeling here with rich color, diverse animals, and elegant shapes. The horse in the very back happens to be my favorite horse on the Nunley's Carousel I rode as a child.
